Unwind and Forming:
A multi option unwind section comprises of
- Two hard chrome plated steel shafts, mounted on the specially designed structure at the rear of the machine - one on top and another on the bottom - to hold two different film rolls. A mechanical breaking arrangement on the side of each of these two shafts is mounted to control the tension of the film.
The shafts can be moved horizontally to fine tune the center of the film.
This option enables the user to make side seal pouches from two different film rolls as well as center seal pouch by using only the bottom shaft.
In case of center seal pouch, the film is formed into a tubular shape with the help of a former which guides it into a center seal arrangement.
- A hard chrome plated steel shaft is mounted on the side of the specially designed structure at the rear portion of the machine fitted with mechanical breaking arrangement to control the tension of the film.
A provision to move the roll vertically is also provided to fine tune center of the film.
The film from this shaft is formed into side sealed pouch by guiding it over a former. This former can be adjusted to alter the size of the side seal pouch.
center / Side Seal section with Gusset Forming Attachment:
For making center seal pouch, the film is formed into a tubular shape over the former and fed into center seal arrangement where center seal takes place. This is followed by center sealed pouch passing through center seal pressing mechanism to ensure a strong center seal.
For making 3 side seal pouch, the folded film from unwind, mounted on the side of the specially designed structure at the rear portion, is fed into the side seal arrangement where sides are sealed with the help of a pair of heaters on both the sides of the folded film.
In case of two separate films coming from unwind, the films are directly fed into the side seal arrangement for sealing.
A side gusseting attachment for center seal pouch, which is a standard attachment, is provided here.
A set of rollers comprising of silicon rubber roller on top and a ground and hard chrome plated steel roller at the bottom form a nip which is driven by 1 HP DC motor ( Optional 1 HP AC motor ) and pulls the film from the roll mounted on the unwind shaft/s.
The sealed film is fed into a pneumatically operated dancing roll mechanism to maintain continuity and constant tension between the nip and bottom sealing and cutting mechanism. |
